Here's part two. :) Enjoy!

Also [info]arqueete brings up an interesting point. If you want to read this fic to the soundtrack I used to write it (the times I chose to listen to music; usually it was either what I'm about to link you or silence), then you can download that here. It's Death Cab for Cutie's Plans album; just don't include Crooked Teeth in that playlist. That song doesn't really fit the mood. If you're a Death Cab fan and have Narrow Stairs, then toss in "I Will Possess Your Heart", "Bixby Canyon Bridge", "Cath...", and "Grapevine Fires".

Author's Notes: It's been a while! I'm a bit rusty but I hope to write more. We'll see. Happy birthday, [info]meemsers.

In this poem, we were supposed to come up with unusual words (especially color words) and take a journey through a familiar place, but make it unusual and strange. What I did is write about things in a way that I normally don't like to write about them, ideas and images I usually avoid. It's kind of intensely personal and a little painful for me to write, actually. XD

This comes from an extremely specific assignment; each sentence had to be a certain thing, like describing the main character's hands and asking him a question. The character is Moritz, and the title ought to clue you in on where he's coming from. This is based on the play.

More crappy poetry. We had to do a list poem, use a list of things you might find somewhere and make a poem with them. Like things you might find in a pocket, or a pantry, or a bird's nest, or a trashcan.

I was making my list of things -- notebook, suitcase, trunk of a car -- when someone said that someone else's suggestion was "thinking outside the box."

So I began to wonder, what's inside the box?

Don't click unless you won't hold my bad poetry against me )

Title: Breath and Sound
Author: [info]prosopopeya
Rating: G
Words: 2728
Summary: This is how she wins her Oscar, later. Excuses and thoughts chase her in circles until she gets tired of the same scenery passing her by, day after day.
Notes: Thx to [info]amything for the story, inspiration, characters, blue hair, and soulmateitdude.

Author: [info]prosopopeya

Summary: Matt is kind of sure of who he is, who he'd like to be, can see happiness dancing ahead of him. He almost gets there, too. Maybe that's where it all goes wrong.

Title: The Labyrinth of Suffering
Author: Shelli ([info]prosopopeya)
Characters: Peter and Nadia
Word Count: 1286
Rating: G
Summary: His last words were love, were of Peter, and maybe he should find comfort in that but it just makes him feel more alone and more empty, surrounded by everything Jason tried to be and holding onto everything he was.
Author's Notes: I read Looking for Alaska today, and I had to do something when I got done -- I had to take what it made me feel, what it made me think about and do something with it. How do I escape this labyrinth of suffering? I turn inward and create. In the end that is all I have the power to do.

Word Count: Total: 4702. In this part: 2530
Rating: PG-13 for dark themes. But this is SA, so.
Summary: It's growing up in the simplest terms. Instead of jacks and baseball bats, Moritz has his gun, Melchior has his friend -- for a little while at least, and then when he's gone, well -- what does he have left, then?

Author's Notes: Iiii dunno, really. Moritz's part struck me hard. It really means a lot to me. Then Melchior whouldn't shut up and I wound up with something bigger than I had anticipated. Much thanks go to Alfred, Lord Tennyson for the title and the poetry. Thanks also go out to Robert Frost and his woods. Also, thanks to [info]dreamsofstars, [info]lauzziemarie, [info]meemsers, and [info]amything for the encouragement. And, well.
